In July 2019, Juan-Salvador and Michael asked Misha to meet them and hear a playlist and radical idea they had concocted. Misha said yes before they could finish.
In May, the demo performance that birthed Mixtape Series was underway. And with aplomb no one expected! Cameras, microphones, an orchestra of volunteers, a stunning space, choreography - it somehow all happened. And so we thought: “Maybe there’s something to this.”
